‘Explosion’ in Zabbar street caused by fireplace

An explosion in Triq il-Bahrija, Zabbar was caused by an uncontrolled fire in a fireplace, according to reports.

The police said the explosion was “small” and occurred at around 9am. The explosion was not caused by a bomb.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The fireplace was close to the façade of the residence.
