'Tristan B' faces new fraud charges

Emanuel Balzan, 33 of Zebbug, also known as 'Tristan B', was charged once again with another fraud case.

This time he was accused of defrauding Elvin Magri of €1500 in November 2009.

Balzan who is currently held under preventative custody at Corradino Prisons was ordered to repay the sum within six months, or face two years imprisonment suspended for four years. Inspector Maurice Curmi prosecuted while lawyer Jose Herrera and Legal Procurator Noel Bianco appeared for the Balzan.
