Man sustains grievous injuries in Luqa car accident

A car accident involving a Citroen Jumper and a BMW 318D in the outskirts of the Luqa industrial estate left a 43-year-old Valletta man with grievous injuries.

The police said in a statement that the accident happened at around 5.15pm on Tuesday. The Valletta man was driving the BMW.

Initial police investigations showed that the Citroen driven by a 31-year-old Italian, living in Birżebbuġa, crashed into the BMW.

The Italian man sustained slight injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
