Government issues warning against travel to Bahrain and Yemen
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement advising all Maltese nationals against travelling to Bahrain and urging those in Yemen to return to Malta.
The MFA said it advises all Maltese nationals “against all travel to Bahrain until further notice”.
With regards to travelling to Yemen, the MFA said the tension and unrest in the country could deteriorate further.
“The Ministry recommends further that in light of the intensity of unrest, Maltese nationals are to leave Yemen as soon as they can by commercial means,” the statement read.
