Sri Lankan government thanks Malta for repatriation aid
In a letter addressed to the Maltese Government, the High Commission of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Italy thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the assistance provided for the repatriation of Sri Lankans from Libya to Malta.
The Sri Lankan High Commission expressed particular gratitude to the Police, Army and the Airport Authorities “who ensured the safe being of its nationals in their time of need and facilitating High Commission Officials assisting the Sri Lankans.”
The High Commission also took the opportunity “to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malta the assurances of its highest consideration.”

Why did they only thank Government and not the Opposition? Is this another PR exercise from Castille?
