Elderly man sustains grievous injuries after falling off ladder

A 65-year-old man fell off a ladder while doing maintenance work and sustained grievous injuries, according to the police.

The accident happened at around 2pm in a residence in Triq Frans Sammut in Ħaż-Żebbuġ.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to have sustained grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
