Injured British journalist on way to Malta from Misurata
Another injured journalist is to be brought to Malta this afternoon from Misurata.
The journalist sustained severe injuries by shrapnel from a mortar shell that killed press photographers Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros last Thursday and whose bodies were brought to Malta on Thursday.
Today's evacuated journalist was not allowed to travel earlier and be brought over with another of his injured colleagues who was brought to Malta late on Saturday night.

Wouldn't this be a good time to make our voice heard by offering full medical facilities to those in need by opening a couple of wards at St Lukes or St Philips, and bring over those most seriously injured in the conflict?
Having watched the various news channels (particularly Al Jezeera) and seeing children with limbs missing and many others with serious injuries whose prognosis doesn’t look good especially if they remain there.
Not only do we still maintain our neutrality, but we will gain world wide respect by our actions.
