Xewkija man, 64, accused of raping disabled woman

A Xewkija man, 64, has been accused of having raped a 19-year-old woman who was reportedly mentally disabled, according to a police statement.

He was also indicted in the court of Magistrate Paul Coppini of having held the woman against her will, offended her dignity with grievious intent, and of causing slight injuries on her person.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded in custody at Corradino Correction Facility.
