A New York judge has remanded International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn in custody on charges of sexually assualting a hotel maid.
News media report how Struass-Kahn was denied a $1 million bail package on attempted rape and other criminal charges. Prosecutors said the are investigating whether he may have engaged in similar conduct once before.
