New identikit for wanted mafia boss

The identikit was published this morning through computer elaboration four years after the first identikit was circulated to police forces worldwide.

Maltese police have received the new identikit this morning through Interpol and Europol.

Nicknamed ‘Diabolik’ - Matteo Messina Danaro is said to be the head of the Corleonese mafia in Sicily, after inheriting the crime syndicate four years ago following the arrest of Bernardo Provenzano.

Messina Danaro has been on the run for the past 15 years.
