Grad rockets injure three, seven Palestinians killed as attacks continue on Gaza

Three Palestinian workers in Israel were injured when an unidentified number of Grad rockets exploded in southern Ashdod. Just a few hours before, Hamas’s armed wing had reportedly announced an end to a two-year old truce with Israel.

According to the The Palestine Telegraph, seven Palestinians were killed and three injured as Israeli warplanes targeted various sites in Gaza Strip for the second day in a row.

The newspaper reports that Israeli warplane type “F 16” attacked during the night a motorcycle near a cemetery in al-Buriage refugee camp, central Gaza Strip. The attack left two Palestinians dead.

In Ashdod, emergency sirens could be heard throughout the city before the blasts from the Grad rockets. A paramedics team that was dispatched to the site of the blast in Ashdod said it was treating three men in their 20s for injuries including shrapnel to the neck, chest and other parts of the body.

Reportedly, two are in serious condition.
