Air Malta receives Best Regional Carrier 2010 award

This award was presented to Air Malta CEO, Peter Davies by Joe Lombardo, the then Group Vice President Global Logistics & Warehousing, Company Infrastructure and Services together with Philip Debattista, Logistics Manager at ST Microelectronics (Malta) during a visit to Malta.

During the short presentation, Lombardo explained the long business relationship that Air Malta has had with ST Microelectronics ever since the opening of their plant in Malta. He also added that ST Microelectronics is looking forward to strengthening the existing bond with Air Malta over the years to come.

Davies thanked ST Microelectronics for their support and loyalty throughout the years and stressed that the airline is pivotal in the development of the local manufacturing industry. He also referred to the current situation of Air Malta and said that even in such difficult times, Air Malta will remain committed to the country and the industry.
