Euros line the highway in heaven
Motorist slammed the breaks and gathered money from the side of the street in Holland, when a money trunk burst open and showered the road with Euro notes.
Euronews reports that a money trunk fell out the back door of a transit van along a Netherlands highway near the town of Elsloo, a following car drove over it, showering the road with 10, 20, and 50-euro bills.
The unexpected windfall caused passing motorists to slam on the brakes, the report added, saying that there followed an unseemly scramble to recover the cash.
Dutch police battled for over an hour to clear traffic on the A2 highway.
The report also says that while some people later brought back the money while others disappeared with their unexpected haul.
