Occupy London protesters handed eviction notice

Occupy London protesters who are currently sitting outside St Paul’s Cathedral have been told they have up to 48 hours to clear out of the site, or else risk High Court action.

Sky News reports that the British police will hand over a letter to the protesters warning them they have to remove their tents – some 200 – or face eviction. It added that the protesters said they are preparing to respond to any legal action.

“We will stay here right until the end and explore legal options to respond to any eviction notice we do receive,” a 27-year-old protester told Sky News.

12 people have already been arrested due to small fights which reportedly broke out during a protest outside the House of Parliament.

Dressed up as zombie bankers, around 50 of the protesters marched into London, stopping outside the Bank of England.

Mr Azzopardi,it's most certainly not Governments that are speaking for the common man. Governments seem to be on the side of greedy thieving bankers and they don't like it cause they've been caught with their pants down.

The Church of England has now withdrawn it's protest and seems to be endorsing the protestors concerns. Here it seems is one Church on the the side of Jesus. If only other so called Christian Churches would follow.

Protesters should get permit, have a one time demonstartion but not occupy a public place for more than a few hours. Citizens of a country have a right to the places that protesters are occupying. the mistake that too place in Occupy Wallstreet in the US is such an example. These bunch of people occupied a public park that was used by everyone and have now turned it into a zoo. ON top of that, they have created all day nuisance to peaceful loving people who live next door. Who is speaking for those people. The politicians and the law authorities should also give an ultimatum to those protesters and allow the citizens to live in peace.
