‘Suicide attack’ on private construction company kills two guards and injures four other people in Afghanistan.
Two guards were killed and four other people wounded in suicide gun and bomb attack on a private construction company in Afghanistan.
The attacks were carried out by militants and began with blasting the company’s compound in a district close to the city of Herat’s airport.
Officials said the fighting is now over.
Security control had been handed over by NATO to Afghan forces in July but the province of Ghazni has seen two rockets being fired, which killed a child.
A full combat troop pullout has been planned by NATO in 2014.
