Helicopter crash killing Mexican internal minister was an accident
Evidence shows fog to be cause of helicopter crash on Friday killing Mexico’s internal minister Francisco Blake Mora and seven others.
Investigations into the helicopter crash on 11 November, resulting in the death of Mexico’s Internal Minister Francisco Blake Mora and seven others, conclude that fog in the mountains was the cause.
Radar and video images were presented by Mexican investigators to support their findings which also eased concerns that Blake Mora had been assassinated on Friday.
Foggy conditions were captured on cameras around the capital on the same morning, with radar records displaying that the pilot steered away from the planned route. It was assumed that the pilot was trying to find a clearer course.
Mexico’s communications and transportation minister Dionisio Perez-Jacome said that evidence showed no indication of foul-play but accident.
