Israel-Gaza conflict continues with air strikes and rockets
More killed and dozens wounded as violence ensues across the Israeli-Gaza border with Israeli air strikes and Palestinian rockets.
Israeli air strikes killed at least three people as violence continued across the Israeli-Gaza border this morning.
Two militants were killed by an Israeli air strike on Thursday which targeted a car on a crowded Gaza street. Israel said the militants had planned attacks against its civilians and soldiers.
Palestinian militants bombarded the south of Israel with rockets in response to the air strikes but caused no injuries.
A second Israeli air strike hit a Hamas - terrorist group - training camp in Gaza City and flying shrapnel left a civilian dead and wounded 13 others including women and children according to Palestinian medical officials.
Both air strikes were confirmed to have been carried out by the Israeli military which said that the first was pre-empted strike to stop the two Hamas-affiliated men who planned to attack Israeli civilians and soldiers.
Hamas swore to destroy Israel and is an Islamist group which has ruled the Gaza Strip since 2007.
