The United Nations received complaints from the Iranian government regarding a U.S. spy drone brought down in Iran.

The U.S. were accused by Iran for violating Iranian airspace and presented proof of the spy plan in the form of a video.

The images were released late Thursday by Iranian state TV but U.S. officials refuse to verify whether it is a U.S. spy aircraft.

The high-tech RQ-170 Sentinel drone was brought down with minimal damage.

U.S. officials from the Pentagon said that if the aircraft is U.S. technology, there would always be concerns of their technology “falling into the wrong hands”.

On the other hand, an official from the CATO institute did not feel that the possession of this aircraft by the Iranians was of any threat.
