NATO oil tankers in Pakistan attacked by gunmen

Gunmen attacked NATO oil tankers in Pakistan, leaving a driver dead and destroying seven tankers.

In a second attack in four days, gunmen attacked NATO oil tankers stranded in Pakistan, shooting dead a driver and destroying seven tankers.

The attacks come as Islamabad warns it could enforce its blockade of the US lifeline into Afghanistan for weeks, AFP reports.

There have been no claims of responsibility to the attacks. But Pakistan's relationship with the US continues to be maimed after the November air strikes by NATO, which killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.

Pakistan had described the attack as deliberate.

There was no claim of responsibility but Pakistan's fragile alliance with the United States crashed to new lows after November 26, when NATO air strikes killed 24 Pakistani soldiers in what Pakistan said was a deliberate attack.
