EU unfreezes Libyan funds
The EU has decided to unfreeze funds of Libya’s Central Bank and its subsidiary the Libyan Arab Foreign Bank.
The decision will be implemented on December 22.
The EU believes that this will assist Libya's new government in restoring the country's economy.
Washington supported the measure as it will unfreeze billions of dollars to build new democracy in Libya.
