US and UK accused of terrorist acts by Iran
Iranian official accuses US and UK of supporting terrorist attack on nuclear scientist while blaming the public revelation of the names of Iranian scientists for tragic events.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said the country blames those who disclosed the names of the country's nuclear scientists.
Mehmanparast said the people believed that the U.S. and U.K were behind the terrorist actions and would not accept superficial condemnation for the actions by the U.S.
Two separate letters were sent by the Foreign Ministry, according to Mehmanparast, to the U.S. and the U.K. condemning their support for such actions and requested the countries to bear responsibility for the terrorist actions.
In the 11 January incident which killed Iranian nuclear scientist, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, a magnetic bomb was attached to his car by a motorcyclist killing both him and his driver and injury two others.
Mehmanparast said that enemies were constantly attempting to plot against the country due to Iran's progress over the last 30 years but these actions only motivated Iranian youth to progress further and overcome enemies.
