Three dead in train crash near Frankfurt

German news agency DAP quoted police sources saying that 13 people have so far been taken to hospital.

The incident is said to have happened when a regional train collided with a construction train and derailed near the town of Mulheim.

According to the reports, the train's driver and two construction workers were among the dead.
