Norway court to deliver verdict on Anders Behring Breivik

Mass-killer Anders Behring Breivik faces being sent to a secure psychiatric ward or a long prison sentence today as Norway court scheduled to give verdict today.

Anders Behring Breivik, who admitted to killing 77 people and wounding more than 240 others, faces the verdict to be handed down by a Norwegian court.

Five trial judges will be ruling on the mass killer’s sanity after he bombed central Oslo followed by opened fire at an island youth camp in 2011.

The conclusion of this panel of judges will determine whether Breivik will be sent to a secure psychiatric ward or be given a long prison sentence.

Despite admitting to the charges, Breivik who has insisted throughout that he is a sane 33-year-old but will not plead guilty.

Breivik claimed that the attacks were necessary to put a stop to the “Islamisation” of Norway and prosecutors have called for him to be considered insane.
