Vella, ‘Libya bombing vile and despicable’

Foreign Minister George Vella has condemned the bomb attack on the French embassy in Tripoli, in Libya, sending his a letter of consolation to his French counterpart Laurent Fabius.

"I was appalled and saddened to learn of the bomb attack outside the French Embassy in Tripoli," Vella wrote.

"While strongly condemning this vile and despicable act, I would like to express my sincere solidarity with your country during these testing times, whilst wishing a speedy recovery to the two French guards who were grievously wounded in this terrorist attack," Vella said.
