Timeline of events surrounding the disappearance of Madeleine McCann is significantly changed after British Police probe phone data.
British police claim a 25-minute reconstruction of events surrounding the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has significantly changed the timeline and accepted version of events leading to and surrounding the disappearance.
Madeleine, was 3-years-old when she went missing in Portugal in May 2007 while her parents, Kate and Gerry, dined out with friends at a nearby restaurant. The family were staying in a holiday flat in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz. The following year, Portuguese authorities dropped their investigation however in May 2011, Scotland Yard launched a review of the case.
Metropolitan Police said the most detailed reconstruction of the case will be aired on Monday after the police analysed mobile phone data of people in Praia da Luz at the time Madeleine vanished. The broadcast will also show a number of e-fits of people the police are looking for.
The Crimewatch appeal will be broadcast in the UK on BBC One on Monday from 2100 BST. It will also be aired in Germany and Holland.
