Nuclear protests in Europe as radiation levels off Japan rise

Anti-nuclear protests in Germany and Italy have been re-ignited after the Japanese nuclear disaster following the tsunami.  The protests are against plans to change energy utilities from carbon to nuclear.

The protests have taken place in the wake of revelations that the radiation levels off the East Japanese coast have risen to worrying levels.  The fear of contamination has left the Japanese fearful of eating fish and other related fish products.

Indeed this has led to a drop in the sale of Tuna and other fish and has even hit the export of Tuna to Japan from Maltese Tuna ranchers.
