EU foreign ministers hold emergency meeting on Ukraine
Ministers from all over the EU will be meeting to discuss the volatile situation between Ukraine and Russia

Minister of Foreign Affairs George Vella will be attending an urgent meeting of the European Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Brussels today to discuss the evolving situation in Ukraine.
The meeting is particularly important in light of Russia’s decision to send troops to the Crimean republic.
The EU hopes to discuss the best way to preserve negotiations with Russia after temporary Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk personally blamed Russian president Vladmir Putin for bringing the two countries to the brink of war.
The United Nations will be holding its own negotiations when Secretary Genral Ban Ki Moon meets with Russian Foreign Affairs minster Sergei Lavrov in Geneva.
