The 2-year-old Indonesian boy whose chain-smoking habit has shocked the world, has reportedly given up.
Ardi Rizal, the 2-year-old, was sent to rehab after pictures of him smoking up to 40 cigarattes a day spread around the world.
The child has spent 30 days under medical supervision where it was also discovered that was suffering from heart problems. However it transpired that the cause was due to the fact that he is overweight.
His parents have also received training on how to help him stay off the cigarettes. The mother had said that if denied a cigarette, Ardi would throw a tantrum and bang his head on the floor in protest.
Apparently, in Indonesia, it has been reported that more than 30 per cent of children smoke a cigarette before the age of 10 in Indonesia.
