British Airways flight diverted to Montreal following bomb threat
Sky News says ‘suspicious device’ found on London-bound flight from Las Vegas
A British Airways flight en route from Las Vegas to London has been forced to land in Montreal. Sky News reported that “a suspicious device was found on board”.
According to other media reports, Montreal police said an unspecified threat was made against the flight. Officers were dispatched to meet the plane at the airport for its scheduled 6:45 a.m. arrival.

"We are working with the Canadian authorities and giving them our fullest support," a spokesperson for British Airways told CTV News in an email. "The safety and security of our customers, crew and aircraft are our highest priorities at all times."
The airline says it will provide hotel rooms for its customers, until it can arrange for them to take another flight to the U.K.
The plane was carrying over 300 people.
