Arthur Simpson-Kent admits to murdering Sian Blake and her two children before fleeing to Ghana
The partner of former EastEnders actress Sian Blake has pleaded guilty to murdering her and their two children.
Arthur Simpson-Kent admitted killing his 43-year-old girlfriend and their sons Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, when he appeared at the Old Bailey to enter pleas.
The murders took place between 12 December, 2015, and 3 January, earlier this year.
The victims were not seen after 13 December and their bodies were found buried in the garden of the family's home in Erith, Kent, on 5 January.
The 49-year-old hairdresser returned to the UK after he agreed to be extradited from Ghana, where he went after the murders were committed.
Appearing via video link from Belmarsh jail, Simpson-Kent appeared before Mr Justice Singh at the court.
He was remanded in custody ahead of a sentencing hearing, which is due to take three days from 4 October.
Ms Blake played Frankie Pierre in 56 episodes of EastEnders between 1996 and 1997.
She had been diagnosed with motor neurone disease before she died.
