Teenager arrested in Saudi Arabia for dancing

A teenage who went viral on Twitter when he was filmed dancing the Macarena on a Saudi Arabian street has been arrested.

The 14 year-old boy, wearing shorts, a striped tee shirt and headphones is being accused of “improper public behaviour” in Jeddah, according to a statement released by Saudi Arabian officials.

Some people on social media have labelled him as a hero, while other condemned his actions as “immoral”.

Earlier this month a singer was  arrested for dabbing during a concert in the south-west of the country.
