London tube attack: teenager charged with attempted murder

The man, Ahmed Hassan, of Sunbury in Surrey, West of London, was arrested in Dover, the morning after the attack and is due to appear in court in London, on Friday.
According to a Met Police statement, he is accused of having “attempted to murder persons travelling on a District Line Train from Wimbledon” on 15 September.
He has also been accused of having “maliciously caused by triacetone triperoxide (TATP) or other explosive substance and explosion of a nature likely to endanger life or to cause serious injury to property”.
30 people were injured last Friday, when the device exploded on a train at Parsons Green station, in southwest London, during rush hour.
Three other men, aged 17, 25 and 30, are in custody, in connection with the investigation into the attack, according to the police. They are currently being held under the Terrorism Act.
Two men, aged 21 and 48, were released from custody on Thursday.
Searches continue at one address in Surrey and another two in Newport, Wales. According to police, a number of other searches have been completed.
