Journalist and wife murdered in Bangladesh
An elderly journalist and his wife have been found murdered in their house in Bangladesh’s capital city of Dhaka.
The two were found dead in their ransacked home with their throat slit. The journalist, Farhad Khan, 60, was the joint news editor of the Bengali national daily Janata.
Though police are uncertain what was the motive of the killing, cash, gold ornaments and other valuables were stolen.
