Multiculturalism has failed Cameron will say
Cameron will address a security conference in Germany and admit that multiculturalism has failed
In what must be seen as the first step to tackle the problem of extremism in Britain, British Prime Minister David Cameron has admitted that multiculturalism has failed in Britain. He will be talking at a security conference on terrorism in Germany.
He is quoted by the English press as saying that the integration of many Muslim groups has failed and more must be done to integrate these groups and encourage them to embrace western values.
He made special reference to issues pertaining to human rights and women. He will also say that living apart is not an option.
He will add the time had come to look into the financing of these groups in local councils and even prisons.
Cameron emphasised that the ‘growth’ of extremism in Britain was confirmation that multiculturalism had failed.
