Barcelona secure Spanish title

Barcelona won their third consecutive title yesterday evening after they played to a 1-1 draw against Levante

Seydou Keita put Barcelona ahead but Levante’s Felipe Caicedo took advantage Gerard Pique’s error to score the equaliser.

The Spanish champions only needed one point to secure the title.

Barcelona now can look forward to the Champions League final to look forward to against newly crowned English champions.

In other matches:

Villarreal only could manage a 0-0 draw against relegated Almeria.

Espanyol and Valencia played to a 2-2 draw.

Osasuna moved five points clear of relegation after they defeated Sevilla 3-2 after coming back from being two goals down.

Real Sociedad left it late to defeat Real Zaragoza 2-1.

Hercules let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 at home to Real Mallorca. After this result Hercules are now relegated.
