Gian Piero Gasperini holds second meeting with Inter
According to reports from Italy, former Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini is edging closer to be the new Inter coach.
According to calciomercato.it a meeting between Gian Piero Gasperini, Marco Branca and Inter president Massimo Moratti. This is the second meeting between the coach and Inter officials in the past 48hrs.
Inter should not have any problems signing Gasperini from Genoa. The former Juventus youth team coach is still under contract with Genoa even though he was fired last November. Good relations between Genoa and Inter should help in finding a quick solution if he is to become Inter’s new coach.
Former Inter coach Jose Mourinho recently gave his blessing to the former Genoa coach if he does take over at Inter.
Gasperini’s spectacular football style is widely praised throughout Italy. He helped former Genoa players Diego Milito and Thiago Motta become world class players.
If Gasperini is to become the next Inter coach, Milito and Motta will surely help him fit in with the current World Club Cup champions.
