Alexis Sanchez

Udinese owner Gianpaolo Pozzo has claimed that Manchester City are in pole position to sign his Sanchez.

Alexis Sanchez was on the verge of signing with Barcelona, but Manchester City are reported to be willing to splash out €50million for the Udinese player.

"If he was to leave, I would say that City have the highest probability of success," Pozzo said.

Guus Hiddink

Guus Hiddink was Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s first choice to coach his team according to agent Cees van Nieuwenhuizen.

Last week Chelsea appointed former Porto boss Andre Villas-Boas, however Hiddink was approached first but the latter insisted on honouring his contract with Turkey.

Moussa Sissoko

Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko is reported to be in negotiations with a number of top-level clubs.

Lyon, Liverpool, Newcastle and Inter Milan are all in contact with the player according to his agent.

Mirko Vucinic

Mirko Vucinic’s agent has ruled out the Roma player will be moving to Blackburn.

His agent Alessandro Lucci told Sky Italia that his client deserves a more prestigious club.

"I have not heard anything. For now it's on standby because first we want to understand the intentions of Roma.

"Blackburn talk is just a rumour. It is a respectable club but I think Mirko deserves a more prestigious club."

On the possibility of a switch to Turin, Lucci insisted there had been no contact.

"The two clubs have never spoken," he said. "I met with Juve, but also for other players. To date there have been no negotiations. Juve are a prestigious club, like Roma.

"Vucinic will either remain in the capital, or will aim for a team of a similar level."
