Christian Cassar joins Floriana FC on a permanent basis as Joseph Borg extends contract

The acquisition of Cassar who signed a 4 year contract with the club is a continuation of the promise made by President Said to bring back players with Floriana roots.

President Said showed his delight about this transfer and thanked everyone involved to make this transfer possible.

Christian Cassar is expected to join the squad that is preparing for the UEFA Europa League commitments as from tomorrow, Monday.

At the same time President Said announced that an agreement has been reached with player Joseph Borg to extend his stay at the club for another season.

Cassar and Borg were two fundamental players part of the squad that ended last season as FA Trophy winners.
