Arsenal edge past impressive Udinese
Arsenal got into the second-leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off with a slight advantage.
Theo Walcott scored the only goal of the match just four minutes after the start. In a match that many predicted Arsenal would dominate, Udinese were unlucky to not finish the match as winners as they were denied by the woodwork and missed some great scoring opportunities. Arsenal seemed to lose some concentration in the second half and Udinese could not find the back of the net with star striker Antonio Di Natale showing his frustration during the match. The result means that Francesco Guidolin’s side host the Gunners next week without the luxury of an away goal. Arsene Wenger will hope his troops can take advantage of the missed opportunities of their opponents knowing playing Udinese on their turf will not be an easy task.
