Mellieha Challenge Cup

The Mellieha Sports Club with the collaboration of the Local Council will be organising the third edition of the pre-season competition, The Mellieha Challenge Cup, which serves as good preparation for the forthcoming season.

The teams taking part are Pieta Hotspurs from the MFA 1^st Division, Gzira Utd and hosts Mellieha SC from the MFA 2^nd Division, Sirens FC and Swieqi Utd from the MFA 3^rd Division and Xaghra Utd from the Gozo FA 1^st Division.

The teams were drawn in two groups as follows:

Group A : Pieta Hotspurs - Mellieha SC – Sirens FC
Group B : Xaghra Utd – Gzira Utd – Swieqi Utd

The group winners will face each other in a final game to win the tournament.
