Tarxien and Hamrun share the points

Both teams were cautious in the first half producing very few scoring opportunities as the first 45 minutes ended without goals.

Tarxien started the first half taking the lead immediately on the 46^th minute. Ricardo Costa’s powerful shot left no chance for Hamrun Spartans goalkeeper Omar Borg.

Hamrun levelled matters on the 60^th minute thanks to Luis Fernando. Anderson Mendes Ribeiro’s cross found Luis Fernando who then found now problem beating goalkeeper David Cassar with his shot.

In the final second of the match, Anderson Mendes Ribeiro could have secured victory for Hamrun, but his power shot hit the woodwork.
