Balzan Youths and Mosta play to a draw

Mosta were the dominant side throughout the match, but Balzan managed to score in the final moments of the match to steal the points from Mosta.

Mosta started with the initiative as on the 13^th minute a free-kick by Rivelino Petriaggi hit the woodwork.

Mosta took the lead on the 41^st minute when Ian Zammit’s free-kick from outside the area found goalkeeper Fredrick Tabone out of place to end up inside the net.

In the second half, Mosta kept the pressure on Balzan. But on the 88^th minute, after receiving a pass from the left, Miguel Ciantar dribbled past the Mosta defender’s to score from close range.

Ian Zammit was voted BOV Player of the Match.
