Qormi thrash Tarxien Rainbows

Tarxien Rainbows managed to take the lead in the first two minutes of the match.

Justin Grioli’s freekick hit the woodwork to have Ricardo Costa pick up the rebound to place the ball at the back of the net.

Qormi managed to equalise on the 36^th minute when Matthew Bartolo served Abubakar Bello-Osagie who then had his powerful shot beat goalkeeper David Cassar.

Qormi’s fine form started to show when just three minutes later they made the score 2-1. Abubakar Bello-Osagie served Jorge Pereira Da Silva who then advanced into the area to beat Cassar with his shot.

On the 59^th minute, Jorge Pereira Da Silva shot low to beat the goalkeeper and make the score 3-1.

On the 64^th minute, Jorge Pereira did some fine work in dribbling past the Tarxien players to serve Matthew Bartolo who then made no mistake with his shot to make the final score 4-1.

Jorge Pereira Da Silva was voted BOV Player of the Match.
