Marsaxlokk no match for dominant Floriana

Floriana showed they were the dominant side right from the start and did not waste time to take the lead as early as the ninth minute.

Christian Caruana managed to beat Marsaxlokk goalkeeper Christian Cassar with his shot after receiving a cross from Ivan Woods.

On the 25^th minute, Floriana made it 2-0. Off athrow-in by Joseph Borg, teammate Boris Odwong passed the ball to Ivan Woods who then tapped the ball into the net.

On the 63^rd minute, Floriana made it 3-0 after Christian Caruana scored his second goal of the evening. Off a pass from Joseph Borg, Christian Caruana had his powerful shot beat goalkeeper Christian Cassar.

Floriana scored their final goal of the evening on the 74^th minute when substitute John Mintoff scored after receiving a cross from Christian Cassar.

Christian Cassar was voted BOV Player of the Match.
