Inter and Milan back to winning ways
Inter are back to winning ways after a bad start to the new Serie A season.
After the sacking of Gasperini, Inter president Massimo Moratti handed the team over to the experienced Claudio Ranieri.
Ranieri immediately went back to the system that worked for Inter in recent years, a four man defence and a solid midfield.
The change has brought immediate results to the current World champions, as Inter defeated Bologna 3-1 yesterday evening.
Giampaolo Pazzini was on target for the Nerazzurri in the first half, but his goal was cancelled out from the spot by Gaston Ramirez after the break.
Diego Milito and Lucio then tipped the scale in Inter's favour with strikes in the final 10 minutes of the game to secure the three points.
Meanwhile Milan defeated Cesena in the other match of the evening.
Milan went into the match with a team weakened with a number of injuries.
35-year-old Clarence Seedorf scored the only goal of the game to give Milan the important win.
The captain curled in a cross in the fifth minute that left Nicola Raviglia with no chance in the Seahorses goal, while Cesena were toothless in attack, the hosts coasted to their first win of the 2011-12 season.
Finally, Fiorentina held of Napoli to end the match in a 0-0 draw.

Napoli’s Cavani had a number of great chances to give his team a goal, but Fiorentina’s perfect tactics and stubborn defence kept the Napoli giants at bay.
