Sliema and Valletta share the spoils

Both teams had numerous chances to take the lead in the first half, but some fine goalkeeping from Andrew Hogg and Anthony Curmi kept the ball out of the net.

Valletta managed to take the lead on the 55^th minute when Roderick Briffa’s rising shot left no chance for Sliema goalkeeper Anthony Curmi.

Sliema managed to equalise on the 66^th minute thanks to Roderick Bajada who managed to dribble the ball past two defenders and beat goalkeeper Andrew Hogg with his shot.

Roderick Bajada was voted BOV Player of the Match.
