Greens make dramatic comeback

Mosta did not waste anytime to take the lead as on the 18th minute, Gilbert Martin's powerful shot beat goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo.

Mosta doubled their lead in the final seconds of the first half. On the 45th minute, a direct freekick by Ian Zammit beat Bartolo to give Mosta a two goal lead.

Floriana started to make their comeback just two minutes after the second half started. Joseph Borg's shot beat Mosta's goalkeeper Glen Zammit.

Floriana scored the equaliser on the 87th minute. A shot by Andre Grabowski was deflected by a Mosta defender to beat goalkeeper Glen Zammit.

Floriana were pressing for the winning goal and it finally arrived on the 89th minute. Off a corner, Christian Cassar's shot beat Glen Zammit amidst the confusion in front of goal.

Gilbert Martin was voted BOV Player of the Match.
