Birkirkara comeback from behind to defeat Balzan
Birkirkara had to work hard for their victory over Balzan Youths as they had to comeback from behind to win 2-1.
Balzan Youths took the early lead on the 5th minute. Dylan Grima served Kris Bright with his accurate pass to have the latter beat goalkeeper Alexsandar Canovic.
Birkirkara did not sit back in the second half and immediately scored the equaliser on the 51st minute. Paul Fenech beat Balzan's goalkeeper with his low shot to put Birkirkara back in the match.
Birkirkara took the lead on the 68th minute in fantastic fashion. A cross by Angus Buhagiar was intercepted by Moises Avila Perez who then performed a overhead scissor kick to beat Camilleri and secure the three points for Birkirkara.
Moises Avila Perez was voted BOV Player of the Match.
