Valletta work hard for victory over Marsaxlokk

Valletta started off looking for the early goal, but Marsaxlokk’s defence were trying their best to keep Citizens out of their goal. Marsaxlokk’s goalkeeper Christian Cassar was also doing a great job protecting his goal.

Valletta did manage to score the opening goal on the 58^th minute. Gilbert Agius beat Christian Cassar with his shot after he was served by Ryan Fenech.

On the 90^th minute, Valletta’s Ousseni Zongo scored the second goal for Valletta frok a very difficult angled shot that managed to beat the goalkeeper.

Christian Cassar was voted BOV Player of the Match.
