Sweden’s Hamad makes the difference against Malta
A late goal in the first half by Sweden was enough to defeat Malta’s Under-21 side in the UEFA Under-21 championship Qualifying round at the Hibernians Stadium yesterday evening.

Sweden’s Jiloan Hamad was the player to watch as he could of scored for Sweden as early as the 5th minute.
On the 36th minute, off a corner by Astrit Ajdarevic, Jiloan Hamad would not be denied as his powerful shot beat goalkeeper Steve Sultana.
Sweden kept most of the ball possession after the break but Malta’s Rowen Muscat Managed to score on the 74th minute to have his goal disallowed for being offside.
